A 3D artwork of a female street hawker selling fruit produce and nursing a child
Composed from oil, recycled fabrics, and leather
Description
Street hawking in general is viewed as a unique phenomenon that arose out of the need to solve societal problems such as unemployment and poverty. And in Africa, it formalized into a booming informal sector proven to be resilient despite various governmental efforts aimed at eradicating it.
Here a Nigerian artist captures the unfortunate plight of a mother forced by poverty into hawking various fruit produce for a living while nursing her hungry child. This sight is an unfortunate scene but a common one in Africa.
This delightful 3D artwork was composed out of the use of fabric, leather, oil, and of course the skilled and creative mind of an artist.
This beautiful artwork can be a wonderful gift to a loved one or a beautiful addition to your home or office décor.
